While I Was Away...

I wanted to take some time and tell you guys what I have been up to since I'm not blogging as much as I used to for When A ThinkBubble Bursts ™. Here are some of the things that I have been doing in my free time:

Listening to Joyce Meyer's Beauty For Ashes

On July 23rd, I went on the computer one night and began to listen to an audio version of Joyce Meyer talking about emotional healing. This message is on Disc #4 titled Receiving Emotional Healing.

Along with the book Beauty For Ashes, I also got 4 different teachings on CD & DVD, a personal study guide and a blessing gratitude journal. Listening to these teachings by Joyce has really helped me emotionally. I can relate to what she's saying as far as receiving emotional healing or the different types of change. So, if you're in need of some emotional healing, then I definitely recommend that you buy Joyce's book Beauty for Ashes. I have been reading the book for a while now and using it to incorporate with what Joyce has been teaching me is very helpful. Purchase Beauty for Ashes from Amazon, eBay, Barnes & Noble or at the Joyce Meyer Ministries Bookstore:

You can also buy the action plan to go with it from Amazon or the Joyce Meyer website:

Doing a story for Episode Interactive

Starting in the month of August, I'm going to be working on my very first story for the Episode app. I promise that I will let you guys know when it's finished and where you can read it. I don't know what kind of stories that I'm going to be writing, but I'm hoping that I can come up with some good ones for the readers. I already have a profile for Episode. Just need to start publishing some stories. Duh.

Listening to good, inspirational music

Yesterday, I took the time to listen to Who Am I and He Loves Me by the World Changers Music's album Heart of Nations.

I'm used to listening to pop and R&B music. I have listened to some praise and worship on Sunday, but I never really took the time to just sit down and listen to a really good gospel song. Honestly, after listening to those two songs by Jordan Dollar, I love it. I'm definitely going to hear this album from beginning to end when I get a chance, of course. I try to stay away from song that has profanity or explicit lyrics. If I listen to a song, I make sure that I listen to the edited version of that particular song by Tinashe or Jhene Aiko, for example.

I had also listened to Ellie Goulding's album Lights on Google Play. I will do a review on that album when I get a chance.

New ideas for When A ThinkBubble Bursts™

I have been thinking of some new ideas to keep you guys coming back to my blog. This is one of the many ideas that I'm sharing with you all. I will post some more ideas in the upcoming days ahead. I am also excited for Ariana Grande to release her fourth studio album Sweetener on August 17th! So, I'm going to try and do all of my blog posts before the release of Ariana's Sweetener.

Practicing on singing in a alto vocal range

Some of you may or may not know that I can dance. I love to dance, but I have always wanted to learn how to sing. So, I have recently learning to sing songs in an alto range. I just found that I'm an alto because of I was a soprano, then I could hold or sing a high note like Ariana Grande without straining my voice. But, of course, I'm not ready to hit the high notes just yet. Starting off slow and working my way up has been nothing, but very good and helpful for me as a person. I want to get to the point where I can sing a full song of my choice without singing bits and pieces of the song. One day, I also want to sing in Spanish. It may be hard, but I'm up for a little challenge. Bring it on!

That's it. So, now you all know what I have been up to all of this time. I hope that you enjoyed this blog post. I am looking forward to writing some more stuff for you guys on When A ThinkBubble Bursts™ very soon.
